Meet the Team

  • Leah Runkle

Leah has been teaching yoga for 3 years. Her practice first began in 2014 when she was playing soccer at Bowling Green State University. Yoga was a part of the team’s active rest days.

Fast forward a couple of years to 2017, Leah began to take her practice and turn it into her lifestyle. After participating in sports her whole life, including D1 soccer and track, Leah had found peace in Yoga. She fell in love with the journey, the lack of competition, and the community. Yoga allowed her to let go and just simply be. She found that there was something even more rewarding in finding space to be present, moving breath to movement, and resting in savasana that she had not found in any other type of practice or activity.

In 2021 Leah first started teaching yoga at a local gym, and later she began to teach at multiple studios in the Toledo area. Leah loves to teach power vinyasa, flow vinyasa, and is starting to incorporate meditation and yin yoga.

Leah has a deep love and passion for connection with people through yoga. She aspires to inspire others to follow there dreams, their hearts passion, and to find love and kindness to themselves and all begins, always!

  • Chris Gallagher

After briefly dabbling with yoga "half a lifetime ago", Chris started practicing regularly in her late 50s, and just recently completed her 200-hour teacher training. Her passion for yoga started, initially, for the exercise, "because it feels good and is fun."

Along the way she started noticing how the effects of the physical practice were radiating out into the rest of her life. "My Mukti School training with the wonderful Kori Clausen has helped me to start cultivating a practice that goes way beyond my yoga mat."

Yoga has transformed her life in ways she didn't foresee, and she has a deep passion for helping other people feel better, happier, stronger, calmer, and more resilient - no matter their age or present physical condition. In addition to continuing to develop her physical practice, she is excited to "finally put my Master's degree in Philosophy to good use, using tools from both Eastern and Western traditions, to more fully appreciate the Yoga Sutras."

  • Curt Lashbrook

Upon early retirement three years ago, Curt started his yoga practice simply as a non-impact form of exercise to counteract the effects of his otherwise sedentary life.

With the help of occasional weightlifting and cardio workouts, yoga took on an even greater role, and has allowed him to be the healthiest he has been in decades. He completed Yoga Teacher Training with Kori Clausen at the Mukti School training and learned not just about teaching but about improving his personal yoga practice both on and off the mat.

Curt encourages everyone by sharing, "Changing your body and possibly your life is challenging at any point in time, but especially so when you’re older." He is looking forward to helping people on their journey in pursuit of better health.

  • Emily Boston

Emily will tell you how yoga has helped her to “feel at home in her mind and her body”. After a long and enduring relationship with distance running and triathlon, Emily switched things up and embraced her yoga mat because she “needed to learn to love the only body I get in this lifetime, and long-distance racing was running it into the ground”. Emily has accomplished a number of marathons, Ironman races, and ultra-marathons, including the Woodstock 100-miler.

Little did she know, that taking her love of yoga to “the next level” would also take her career as a Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor in our mental health community to a new level. After obtaining her Master’s Degree at Simmons University in Social Work, and opening her private therapy and supervision/consulting practice, she was introduced to Lifeologie International School for Psychotherapeutic Yoga at Yogazama Studio in Dallas, TX, and obtained her Psychotherapeutic Yoga Clinician certification. This led to making amazing connections, building a yoga-family, and a strong desire to build a therapeutic yoga community - all under one roof!! She is also a passionate mom to two amazing sons, and shares so much gratitude for her health and movement that her sons “gotta keep up with me!”

So, just remember, Emily’s door is always open (unless of course, she is in-session) if you need support, encouragement, and a reminder that YOU are an incredible human being, and you BELONG here at Finding You Psychotherapy & Yoga!

  • Hannah Hall

Hannah believes that her yoga practice has helped her achieve balance in many areas of her life. Since beginning her career in social work, she decided to incorporate yogic principles as a means of self-care. She then began to understand the deeper impact
that yoga can have on overall well-being & wellness.

Working as a licensed social worker for over 8 years, Hannah utilizes what she learns on the mat to complement her approach as a psychotherapist working with clients, helping them find meaningful change. Hannah considers yoga as an important tool to find purpose, understanding, compassion, and love. She will not hesitate to express the vitality one can find by integrating intentional movement to achieve loving awareness.

Hannah’s classes are trauma-informed, accessible, and adaptable. Her goal is to support the integration of body and mind by providing a projection free environment
where one may discover empowerment, balance, and connection.

Hannah also enjoys other forms of exercise such as jogging, swimming, and hiking. Music has always been an anchor in her life, she loves spending time at home with her loving partner Ben listening to records, practicing guitar, and attending concerts.
Hannah also spends her free time gardening, reading, crocheting, and hanging out with her beloved cats, Sebastian (aka Sea Bass!) and Nelson.

“Attention to the human body brings healing and regeneration. Through awareness of the body we remember who we really are.”
